Biography

Bobby W. Miller was born in Florence, Alabama in 1940. In 1958 he was in an Air Force uniform serving in a crash rescue unit in the Strategic Air Command (SAC). In 1968 Miller was in an Army uniform flying choppers with the 192nd Assault Helicopter Company in South Vietnam. Miller’s aircraft was shot down twice and he was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross and the Air Medal. He Challenged Richard Shelby for a seat in the U.S. Senate in 1992. Produced the television show, The Late Show (BLAB 2001). Worked as the golf pro on Holland America’s ms Westerdam. Miller has written five books and recorded two music CDs..
